ACADEMIC CLASSES
Intimate Relationships: in this class I learned the dynamics of intimate relationships through coursework, activities, and videos. This allows me to identify aspects of relationships that happen between two individuals.
Parent-Child Relationships: the dynamics of families and the complexity of the relationships each family has. We learned about various theories and methods that assist in understanding families. This class taught me what impacts families and how to help them.

This job has allowed me to work with different personalities and learn more about the different types of families my co-workers have. I've learned to be a leader by helping new co-workers and time management skills through the completion of daily projects.
Fremont Motor Powell: June 2012-November 2014
Office Aid
Through this job I learned how to organize an office and help in customer relationships. This gave me the opportunity to work with various personalities and problems that arise.
Family Promise: Spring 2020
Intern
During my time at Family Promise I worked on translating the entry paperwork for new families in the program. I also assisted in making new instructional signs in Spanish, fundraising, and getting to know the families in the program.
VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
Laramie Soup Kitchen: Spring 2018
I spent the semester helping out at the soup kitchen and learning the in and outs of how it functions. Now I understand the need families in the community have for services such as this.
Missionary in Chile January 2016-July 2017
I lived and served the people of Chile for 18 months. This allowed me to better understand their culture and their family dynamics.
